The u3a in Derbyshire

There are 17 u3as in the Derbyshire Network, each providing a range of interest groups and social activities for their members. We are part of a national organisation with more than 400,000 members in 1000 u3as.

Founded 40 years ago, the UK u3a movement aims to encourage groups of people who are no longer in full time employment (eg retired or semi-retired) to come together and continue their enjoyment of learning in subjects of interest to them.
